Experience

Matheus began his career in 2016 at a North American multinational group, responsible for executive and internal administrative support, handling diligences, and resolving conflicts.

In 2019, during his undergraduate studies, he joined the National Treasury Attorney General’s Office as an intern, working in the Fiscal Execution and Procedural Defenses sector in Tax Law.

In 2021, Matheus interned at the Paraná State Court of Justice, focusing on Administrative Law, Civil Procedure Law, and Tax Law.

During his undergraduate studies, he was frequently awarded for his role as class representative and scientific researcher. His interest in the intersection of Law and Economics earned him a full scholarship to study entrepreneurship in emerging economies at Harvard Business School in 2021

2022, Matheus joined the Tax Law team at Marins Bertoldi Advogados, working in the litigation area. He currently develops activities related to structuring procedural strategies, drafting defenses and appeals in administrative and judicial spheres, and resolving specific tax issues.
