Experience
James Marins co-founded Marins Bertoldi Advogados Associados with his partner Marcelo Bertoldi in 1995, with the aim of building a law firm dedicated to serving medium and large enterprises.
Over his 30-year professional career, he has had the opportunity to work in tax consulting and litigation in significant cases at the Federal, State, and Municipal levels, both in administrative contentious matters and in the handling of highly complex judicial tax processes.
At PUCPR, he served as the General Director of the Law Course, where he is currently a Licensed Professor of Tax Law and Tax Procedure Law, teaching undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses.
