Experience

João began his journey in Corporate Law in 2019 as an intern and later as a lawyer at a boutique law firm specializing in the area.

He has been part of Marins Bertoldi since 2020. His work includes corporate restructurings, drafting shareholder agreements, estate and succession planning, due diligence audits, drafting and analyzing contracts, and providing consultancy on matters related to Corporate and Succession Law.

In 2020, he started his Postgraduate studies in Civil and Business Law at PUCPR, which will be completed in 2021. Additionally, he frequently participates in short and medium-duration courses on topics related to Corporate Law.

As a student, João represented PUCPR’s Arbitration Group in national and international competitions and was a monitor for the subjects Arbitration, Practicing Law Across Civil and Common Law (Comparative Law), and Restorative Justice.

In 2018, he attended the US Law and Legal Writing Seminar at Pepperdine University in Malibu, USA, where he deepened his studies in Comparative Law, legal writing, and alternative dispute resolution methods (arbitration, mediation, and negotiation).
