Rafael obtained his first professional experience during his undergraduate studies through an internship at a law firm in Curitiba. After graduating with a law degree, he continued at the firm as an attorney in the area of Tax Law.

He then began his specialization at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET), where he earned the title of Specialist in Tax Law.

In 2019, Rafael joined Marins Bertoldi, where he is part of the tax litigation department, working on drafting defenses and appeals in judicial and administrative processes.
